It's still amazing to me what a difference lighting can make. The first picture was taken with my 18-55 lens at 3.5 aperture on a sunny day. The natural light helps give clearly defined lines to the 'subject'.
However, on a cloudy day, this picture was taken with the same lens at the same aperture, however, it required a flash to give it an ISO of 100. I do like the difined line of the bubble, but the harsh shadow of Dan's hand gives away that a flash was used.
The good news? I now have a 50mm f/1.8 to hopefully get better indoor shots :)
